More research, less paper-writing...

Today was a long day, but a good one. I went to the gym this morning (yay me) and worked out. My body did not want to work out today. But I did, and I lifted weights, so now my shoulders are angry too. What a sad day.

I went to class, even though I was exhausted. I haven't been sleeping well, and I'm pretty sure I just didn't sleep last night. I thought about napping before class, but I knew that if I did, I'd never make it to class. So, I went to class. We talked about the assignment....again. For the next two weeks, though, we're going to talk about the final. Something different! But I really like talking about the assignment, because I feel more focused and motivated after we do.

Melisa met me after class and we walked to the Pound Store, where you can buy four pepsis for a pound, which we enjoy. I've been needing caffeine. And then, I cleaned my room (which I always do before I write a paper) and did some research. I keep wanting more research, although I think I have all I need.

I took a break from working to have dinner. We made fajitas, which I've come to love. We finished watching Van Wilder--that movie always puts me in a good mood. Then I came back and (surprise) did more research. I actually closed Facebook and all that. It was serious research. But frustrating, because my internet is loading sooooooo slowly lately. It's driving me nuts. Who wants to do anything online when you have to sit and wait for each page to load? I'm very impatient. But I did more research, and I wrote down my plan for my paper. So that's progress, at least. The plan is to actually write the paper (or most of it) tomorrow. I don't have class, so it's not like I have anything better to do. I'm planning on working out in the morning, but that will wake me up so that I can do work. And I suppose I have lunch plans with Melisa, but that's a necessity. I have all afternoon and evening to work on this paper, which is due on April 28th. I'm going to be really glad when it's done--now if only I could summon the motivation to DO it.

After researching for a few hours, Melisa and I decided we needed to get out. So we went for a walk, and ended up at the late-night store. We got candy bars (new ones each time we go!) and these VK vodka drinks. I've heard they are really good, and so we decided to try them. Mine was cherry, which actually tasted just like a Jolly Rancher. Not bad, really. As for candy, I got a roll of Cadbury eclairs, which are really good. I'd like to bring home a ton of candy and nutella, haha.

And now I suppose I should go to bed, or something. Tomorrow will be full of paper-writing--and no doubt, procrastination.
