I met Melisa (with sandwiches) after her class, and we ate lunch outside before going to the library. I love the library :) I got a few more books to read, which will hopefully help keep me occupied. We stopped by the grocery store for chocolate milk and bread (necessities, really). I read for a while after lunch, and then straightened my hair. Exciting life, I know. But halfway through straightening my hair, there was a knock on my door. Imagine my panic. Half-straightened hair looks a little scary! But it was just one of the guys from the security office. He has been in the office EVERY time I've stopped by to check my mail. I'm pretty sure he feels bad for me. Anyway, he was all smiles when he knocked on my door. He told me I needed to go to the security office, because there was something for me there. He wouldn't actually say what, but he seemed very excited about it. So I went to security, and it turns out that my boyfriend (who is basically the best boyfriend ever) sent me flowers! They are gorgeous, and they smell great. The guys in the security office were also happy to see me, and told me to tell John that he was a few days early on the flowers...Valentine's Day isn't until Sunday. John likes to show everyone how it's done ;) Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm now BFFs with the guys in the security office. They are starting to recognize me, and they were very excited that I got flowers :)
I didn't have anything that even slightly resembled a vase, so I ran down to Morrison's (the closest grocery store) and bought a cute little vase. Now I have pretty flowers :)
They make my room look nice, and smell nice too!
Melisa and I made chili for dinner. It had a very strong tomato flavor more than anything, but it wasn't bad. And I'm not a huge fan of spicy stuff anyway! After dinner, we hung out for a little while, and then went to Trivia Night at Bar Uno. Trivia is always fun, even though I'm fairly certain we don't stand a chance of winning. But I had a really good time, and I actually knew a few answers this time :) It's almost the weekend again, and I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do. But I'm sure Melisa and I will find something do amuse us!
